Merford Acusticab

Acusticab is a high-quality sound-absorbing foam made of polyurethane, further Acusticab features an extremely thin decorative oil, moisture-resistant PU film and a self-adhesive layer. This top layer increases the surface area, resulting in a higher absorption value compared to sound absorption boards without this layer. The open-cell structure of the foam absorbs sound, effectively attenuating noise. Acusticab is widely used in engine rooms of ships and yachts, appliance and machine enclosures and under the bonnet of vehicles such as cars, motorhomes and buses for absorbing engine noise (often used in combination with de-drumming). Available in black and white.

Properties

• Easy to cut to size.
• Oil, dirt and moisture-proof top layer, cleanable with a damp cloth.
• The foam can withstand temperatures of up to +/- 80°C. Fire class E and CE certification. This product features a powerful self-adhesive.
• Available with top layer colours black and white.
