The Pyrogel® XTF aerogel insulation blanket is designed to provide exceptional passive fire protection and superior thermal performance in a thin and lightweight format. Pyrogel XTF was tested to the most stringent fire protection standards and provides protection against hydrocarbon fires for up to 4 hours and against jet fire for up to 2 hours. It can also be used to meet the requirements of API 521 for pressure relief systems. Pyrogel XTF contains all the insulating qualities of Pyrogel XTE in addition to the fire protection. Hydrophobic and breathable, Pyrogel XTF keeps underlying objects drier longer.
Use
Superior corrosion resistance is also provided and process conditions are maintained even in the most stressful environments. With faster execution per man-hour, especially for large diameter pipes and vessels, Pyrogel XTF offers faster commissioning. It can be used in all weather conditions and requires no curing time and delivers immediate protection.
